Webster Avenue and Penney Avenue safety and visibility improvements

We plan to make changes to Webster Avenue and Penney Avenue to improve visibility and enhance safety for all road users.   

We’ve heard the community’s concerns about parked vehicles blocking visibility around the bend, making it difficult for drivers to see oncoming traffic.   

Following a site assessment, we are planning to:

• paint 18m of No Stopping At All Times (broken yellow lines) on the inside bend around 101 Penney Avenue 
• clear access and re-allocate road space by removing three on-street parking spaces.  

These changes will provide enough road width for two vehicles travelling in opposite directions to pass safely and will improve visibility around the bend.

They will also reduce the risk of head‑on collisions.
