Improving bus stops on Lingfield Street

In late 2025 we'll be improving the safety and operation of bus stops along Lingfield Street in Glenfield. Feedback from the community and bus operators indicates that these bus stops should be improved. The community has expressed that safe and easy mobility within the neighbourhood is important. 

As no recorded feedback was received during the consultation period, we are proceeding with the project with no changes.

We expect to have these changes implemented before the end of 2025.

The work we’re doing 

We’re doing this work to maintain and improve the public transport options in your area and to keep you safe. The drawings show where we’ll be working. 

1 Lingfield Street, Glenfield - Stop 3749 improvements include: 

• upgrading the bus stop with new road markings 
• installing additional broken yellow lines at the bus stop, which improves bus manoeuvrability when entering and exiting the bus stop. 

12 Lingfield Street, Glenfield - Stop 3902 improvements include: 

• upgrading the bus stop with new road markings 
• installing additional broken yellow lines at the bus stop, which improves bus manoeuvrability when entering and exiting the bus stop. 

47 Lingfield Street, Glenfield - Stop 3747 improvements include: 

• upgrading the bus stop with new road markings and signage. 

50 Lingfield Street, Glenfield - Stop 3900 improvements include: 

• upgrading the bus stop with new road markings and signage 
• installing additional broken yellow lines at the bus stop, which improves bus manoeuvrability when entering and exiting the bus stop.
