Travel on special event buses to and from Eden Park

Travel on special event buses to and from Eden Park is included in your event ticket. Special event buses to and from the North Shore use the Eden Park Transport Hub on the corner of Reimers Avenue and Sandringham Road and Special event buses from the CBD pickup and drop off at 401 New North Road.

Simply show your ticket to the driver when boarding, and remember to keep your ticket for the ride home.

Train travel included with your ticket.

Travel on trains is included in your ticket from 3:00 PM.  Simply show your ticket at the gate or train manager when boarding, and remember to keep your event ticket for the journey home.

Post Event Trains

Both platforms at Kingsland station are citybound. If you require a westbound train both platforms at Morningside Station head west.

The Downtown Ferry Terminal is close to Waitematā Station (Britomart) and various bus stops for easy connections to take a bus or a train to Eden Park Stadium.

Walking routes

Bike Valet

Bike valet parking is available at with our partner Bike Auckland. It is located at Kowhai Intermediate School carpark on Sandringham Road

Road closures and parking restrictions will be in place during this event. Expect delays.

Auckland Transport Fan Trail to Eden Park

The route is approximately 4.5km and takes people from downtown Auckland at Te Komititanga Square (TK Square) with the destination at Eden Park via Wairepo Swamp Walk. The route passes through several of Auckland’s iconic locations showcasing the heart of Auckland. The route is as follows; Te Komititanga Square – Queen Street – Aotea Square – Myers Park – St Kevin’s Arcade – Karangahape Road – Great North Road – Bond Street – Sandringham Road – Wairepo Swamp Walk to arrive on Eden Parks doorstep.

This route will be enhanced with activation zones (information to come) scattered along the trail where walkers can experience live entertainment, engage with AT Transport Ambassadors, learn more about AT, interact with roving and staged performances and food and beverage stops along the route.
