Improving access to utility services in Epsom

The Vector electricity maintenance team has asked us to extend the ‘no stopping at all times’ (broken yellow lines) in front of the electrical box. When vehicles park in this area, they block access. This makes it hard to switch the power during faults or maintenance work. 

What will change on Gilgit Road

We will:

• extend the ‘no stopping at all times’ lines to keep the area in front of the electrical box clear 
• shift the P120 sign slightly eastward on Gilgit Road, just past the electrical box 
• remove one on-street parking space to clear access and re-allocate road space. 

The changes will make it easier and quicker for the Vector maintenance team to access the site when needed.
