Transport options

Check the transport options for this event:

Plan your bus journey

There are frequent bus services from around Auckland to get to Manuka Doctor Arena. Use Journey Planner or the AT Mobile app to plan your journey or visit the timetables page for scheduled bus times.

Temporary bus stop

If you are travelling from Newmarket to the event on the OuterLink a temporary bus stop has been set up on Grafton Road to leave you closer to the Arena. This stop will not serve OuterLink buses travelling into Newmarket.

If you are travelling to the event from the City Centre your stop will be the existing one up the hill near Auckland University. To travel back into mid-town you can take the OuterLink from the Grafton Road temporary stop.

Please use the signalised pedestrian crossing on Grafton Road to cross safely if you are using this temporary bus stop.

Use Journey Planner to find your nearest alternative stop.

Full Network Closure

Buses will replace trains for the duration of this event because of the Summer Rail Upgrades.

Check rail-replacement bus timetables on Train Line Status or on the AT Mobile App.

Plan your ferry journey

The Downtown Ferry Terminal is located near Waitematā Station. Ferry passengers can then catch a bus to get to Manuka Doctor Arena.

Use our Journey Planner or the AT Mobile App to plan your journey or visit the timetables page for scheduled ferry times.

Standard fares apply

Standard fares apply for travel by ferry. You can pay for a single trip with your AT HOP card or a contactless method. Visit our page to find out where to buy and top up a HOP card.

Plan your journey

Road closures and parking restrictions will be in place on the day. Visit our Road closure page to find out more about specific road closures.

The event organiser for this event has elected not to take up integrated ticketing so normal fares apply.

Public transport is still a great way to get to the event, see the bus, train & ferry sections of this webpage for further details and to plan your journey.

Auckland Transport (AT) proudly partners with major event organisers to deliver seamless, stress-free travel experiences for attendees. As part of our commitment to accessible and sustainable transport, we offer integrated ticketing—a convenient option where bus & train fares are included in the event ticket.

This initiative is part of a subsidised cost-share arrangement between AT and event organisers, designed to reduce barriers to public transport and support smoother journeys to and from events. Integrated ticketing helps reduce congestion, supports environmental goals, and enhances the overall event experience.

Visit the ASB Classic website for more information about the event.
