Veterans, SuperGold/RSA Card holders travel free
Ferry, bus and rail replacement bus travel in Auckland is free all day to Veterans, SuperGold, RSA Membership Card holders and uniformed military personnel. Simply show your eligible ID card to the driver when boarding.
Please note that you will need an AT HOP card for travel outside of Anzac Day.
Additional bus services
There will be additional bus services (NX1) from Albany Bus Station to Auckland Domain. Buses are scheduled to depart Albany at 4:30am and 5:00am stopping at all Northern Busway Stations.

Veterans, SuperGold/RSA Card holders travel free
Rail replacement bus travel in Auckland is free all day to Veterans SuperGold, SuperGold, RSA Membership Card holders and uniformed military personnel. Simply show your eligible ID card to the driver when boarding.

There will be additional early morning services to Waitematā on the Eastern, Southern, Onehunga and Western Line rail replacement buses.

Plan your bus journey

The Downtown Ferry Terminal is close to Waitematā Station (Britomart) and various bus routes for easy connections to take a rail bus from stop 7005 outside H&M.

A bike rack is available on the South West side of the Museum building. You will need to bring your own lock. There is no charging facility for e-bikes and e-scooters.
Undercover parking at the Auckland Museum is not available to the public. Maunsell Road will be closed to the public during the event.
There is some free parking, subject to availability, in the Auckland Domain, with access via Carlton Gore Road and Football Road. This is first-come, first-served so the Traffic Controllers will close access when the parking is full.
A limited number of mobility parking spaces on The Crescent inside the Domain. The best access is via Domain Drive or Lower Domain Drive. This is for mobility permit holders only and, again, first-come, first-served.
