Pukekohe Station closure Pukekohe Station closure

From 13 August 2022, KiwiRail will be redeveloping Pukekohe station and the rail line to allow for Auckland Transport’s electric trains to travel between Pukekohe and Papakura.

  • Pukekohe Station will close and the Pukekohe Train service will be suspended until late 2024.
  • Bus route 394 is a free replacement bus between Papakura and Pukekohe via Paerata Rise.
  • Customers can transfer at Papakura Station for travel on the Southern Line to other destinations.
