This year's Sustained Leadership in Transport Business Award winner has won the Auckland Bike Challenge for the past 5 years and is also improving their cycling culture year on year.

Sustainability and regenerative design are core values on which Jasmax was built, and it shows with the Jasmax team having been at the forefront of sustainable design in the Pacific for over 50 years.

The design powerhouse doesn't just stop at sustainable design, they also carry it through to the company's use and encouragement of sustainable transport options.

In 2018 Jasmax had 20% of their company cycling to work. In 2019 the number of employees cycling increased to 25%.

Jasmax offers its employees e-bikes to use at the office and has provided better cycling facilities.

The team have also taken part in Auckland PARK(ing) Day and the Auckland Walk Challenge.

Besides being advocates for cycling and walking to work, Jasmax also encourage their employees to take public transport to get around, particularly to meetings, by providing AT HOP cards at their reception desk.

Employees are surveyed at the end of each year so the company understands how their employees are getting around and what they can do to encourage more active modes of transport.

This constant drive to improve their company's sustainability is what has made Jasmax winner of the Sustained Leadership in Transport Business Award for 2020.
