We are proposing to install 4 mobility parking spaces with P180 time restriction.

Why the changes are needed

These changes are needed to supplement the mobility spaces in the area and the time restriction to it will ensure that there is turnover of the space.

This project will proceed without changes to the next stage of detailed planning. Thank you to everyone who submitted feedback. A summary of this feedback and answers to community questions and concerns is below.

Feedback received

  • Suggestion to relocate all or some of the parking spaces closer to the medical centre entrance, as people who use these carparks might need more regular and quick access to the centre. The proposed location for all four spaces is preferred from safety and accessibility point of view, based on the fact that the required ramp and connectivity to the footpath is already in place, and the medical centre can easily be accessed from there.

Next steps

This work will happen in between now and March 2019 but we will let you know if there are further changes or delays.

Our contractors will send notices to affected residents 48-hours prior to construction starting.
