The City Rail Link (CRL) project is getting ready to connect the overhead line equipment (OHLE) inside the tunnels with Waitematā Station (Britomart). To allow for these works, there will be some platform closures which impact train services as follows:
- Platform 4 will be closed from Monday 18 to Thursday 21 November (View map)
- Friday 22 November - services will continue to run on a 20-minute frequency all day stopping at all stations. Trains may be busier than usual.
- Platform 1 will be closed from Tuesday 26 to Thursday 28 November (View map)
Western Line
Services will run on a 20-minute frequency to and from Waitemata Station all day. Services between Newmarket and Swanson continue to operate every 10 minutes in both directions during peak times. Customers can transfer to Southern line services at Newmarket to Parnell and Waitemata as an alternative.
Eastern Line
Train services will run to their normal frequency, but they will arrive and depart at different platforms. Please check the public information display for your platform before boarding.
Southern Line
Train services will run to their normal frequency, but they will arrive and depart at different platforms. Please check the public information display for your platform before boarding.
Onehunga Line
No impact - Running as normal between Onehunga and Newmarket.
