The City Rail Link (CRL) project is getting ready to connect the overhead line equipment (OHLE) inside the tunnels with Waitematā Station (Britomart). To allow for these works, there will be some platform closures which impact train services from 22 July to 4 August 2024:

  • Platform 1 will be closed from 22 July to 27 July 2024 (View map)
  • Platform 4 will be closed from 29 July to 4 August 2024 (View map)

Western Line
Services will run on a reduced 20-minute frequency between Waitematā and Swanson all day. An additional 20-minute train service between Swanson and Newmarket will run during peak times to allow a 10-minute frequency between Swanson and Newmarket.

Eastern Line
Train services will run to their normal frequency, but they will arrive and depart at different platforms. Please check the public information display for your platform before boarding.

Southern Line
Train services will run to their normal frequency, but they will arrive and depart at different platforms. Please check the public information display for your platform before boarding.

Onehunga Line
No impact - Running as normal between Onehunga and Newmarket.
