We are proposing to install two new ‘P15 at all times’ parking spaces on Waddon Place in Mangere.

Why the changes are needed

These changes are expected to improve accessibility for visitors of nearby businesses, including the Dialysis Centre and the soon to be built Maternity Centre.

Proposal outcome

This project will proceed with minor changes to the next stage of detailed planning. A summary of the community feedback we received and answers to questions and concerns is below.

Feedback received

  • Concern was raised about the duration of the parking restriction, as 15 minutes seemed to be too long for the purpose of pick up and drop off. After considering all feedback received, the proposal has been revised to ‘P10 at all times’

Next steps

This work will be implemented before the end of October 2018, but we will let you know if there are further changes or delays.

Our contractors will send notices to affected residents 48-hours prior to construction starting.
