Panmure Bridge night time works closure

Panmure Bridge will be closed to all vehicles on the nights of Tuesday 17, Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 November from 11pm to 5am.

Pedestrian and cycling (dismounted) access across the bridge will be maintained during the night with traffic management in place.

A large crane will be built on the western side of the bridge, and needs to be transported to the site in stages.

This work is weather dependent, so we have a back-up to fully close Panmure Bridge to vehicles on the nights of Sunday 22 and Monday 23 November, if required.

This work forms part of stage 1 of AMETI Eastern Busway, a transformational project that will create a dedicated, congestion-free busway and walking/cycling connections between Panmure, Pakuranga, and Botany town centres. 

Stage 1, between Panmure and Pakuranga, is scheduled for completion in 2021.
