Auckland Transport would like to update our customers on what steps we are taking in the face of the COVID-19 situation.


Buses replace some trains - 4 and 5 April

On Saturday 4 April to Sunday 5 April, buses replace trains on the Eastern line, and Southern line from Otahuhu to Pukekohe. Western and Onehunga line will operate to a Sunday timetable.


Half Moon Bay ferry sailing changes - April 2020

Between 9 and 11 April there will be changes to ferry sailings to and from Half Moon Bay due to low tides.


Temporary Closure of Wellesley Street

From Sunday 23 February 2020 there will be changes to some city centre bus routes and stops.


Service changes at Hibiscus Coast Station

From Monday 24 February, some NX2 services will start or finish at Hibiscus Coast Station.


Temporary Closure of Lower Albert Street

UPDATE: From Sunday 9 February the NX1 will continue to depart from Customs Street East due to the Lower Albert Street closure


Bus stop closures due to Karangahape Road enhancement project

From Monday 16 September, there will be temporary bus stop closures due to the Karangahape Road enhancement project.


Affected bus services due to Employment Relations Act

Updated: From Thursday 26 March 2020, the following bus services will not operate due to changes to the employment laws and COVID-19.


Temporary changes to Waiheke Island bus services

From Monday 16 December 2019, bus route 50B will not operate until further notice.
