  1. By participating in the trial, you agree to these terms and conditions.
  2. The trial: We (Auckland Transport) are running a trial in conjunction with our partners to evaluate and collect data from a series of smart city technologies in the Devonport area. The technologies include Wi-Fi, parking occupancy, air quality sensors, adaptive lighting and electric vehicle chargers inside two smart poles.
  3. Auckland Transport will issue you a free EV charge card for electric vehicle charging. You will need to complete a form providing your name, email address, and phone number before an EV charge card will be issued to you by our agent, Devon on the Wharf.
  4. You agree to Auckland Transport contacting you for your feedback on the trial using the contact details you have provided in the form.
  5. Privacy: Where we collect personal information from or about you in relation to the trial, the privacy policy available on our website will apply. A copy of this policy can be accessed on the Auckland Transport website at https://at.govt.nz/about-us/about-this-site/privacy-policy/
  6. You agree to comply with all applicable laws and our reasonable instructions when participating in the trial. You may not in your participation in the trial cause nuisance, annoyance, inconvenience, or property damage, whether to Auckland Transport or any other party.
  7. Liability and Indemnity
    1. The nature of the trial means that we cannot warrant that the smart poles or any other smart city technologies will be available at any particular time, or at all. We reserve the right to stop the trial at any time without notice.
    2. We reserve the right to disable the EV charge card at any time without notice.
    3. You agree that you participate in the trial at your own risk and that to the maximum extent permitted by law Auckland Transport will not be responsible for any loss or damage suffered by you or your assets as a result of your participation in the trial.
    4. You agree to indemnify Auckland Transport for any claims, loss or damage that Auckland Transport may incur arising from or in relation to your participation in the trial.
