There will be road closures, bus detours and some services will be suspended during the event:
- King Edward Parade, Cheltenham Road, Tainui Road and Matai Road will be closed in both directions.
- Old Lake Road and Vauxhall Road will be closed southbound only.
- Bus 814 from Akoranga Station to Devonport will detour via Lake Road and Albert Road.
- Bus 807 will be suspended during the event.
