We proposed to install No stopping at all times restrictions (broken yellow lines) on Fairey Place in Mangere. This would involve the removal of approximately 5 parking spaces.

Why the changes are needed

These changes are needed to improve the safety of Fairey Place. Currently, rubbish trucks have difficulty manoeuvring around the head of the cul-de-sac due to parked vehicles and these restrictions will prevent this parking.

Proposal outcome

Due to negative feedback from local residents regarding the removal of on-street parking, this project will not be proceeding to the next stage of detailed planning. Thank you to everyone who submitted feedback.
