Parking guidance signs assist motorists in finding spaces in car park buildings in the Auckland CBD.
The signs show motorists the number of short-term spaces available in the nearest parking building. Information is updated via radio link every 10 minutes.
This innovative electronic system, which is also used in the United Kingdom, significantly reduces the number of motorists circulating while looking for parking spaces.
These electronic signs are installed on six key arterial routes in Auckland's CBD; Quay, Wellesley, Fanshawe, Symonds, Nelson and Cook streets. They show spaces available in the Downtown, Victoria Street and Civic car park buildings.

Once you're in a parking building, Way Finder is the easy way to navigate your way around. By using the lights above each car park, you can easily see which spaces are available.
