Train Timetable
Between Friday, 27 December 2024, and Monday, 27 January 2025, trains will not be running. Buses will replace trains as we upgrade the rail network to improve your journey. We’re working hard over summer to complete this while most customers are away.
As people start to return from holiday we will be adding additional rail express bus services to help customers get around between 6 January to 27 January.
From 6 January 2025 to 27 January 2025, as people start returning from holidays, we will add additional rail bus express services to help you get to where you need to go.
From 28 January to 02 February, the Western and Onehunga lines will reopen as well as the Eastern and Southern lines between Waitemata and Otahuhu. Buses will replace trains between Otahuhu and Homai on the Southern line and Otahuhu and Manukau on the Eastern line.
The full network will reopen 03 February 2025.
We understand that disruption to services is frustrating. We appreciate your patience as we get ready for CRL.
