The lifts at Swanson Station will be out of service from November 29, 2024, to mid-January 2025 for refurbishment. Most of the work will occur during the Christmas network shutdown to minimize disruption. While a previous project in 2022 addressed weather tightness issues, the current project focuses on refurbishing the lifts, which are now at the end of their design life.

• The lift dimensions will remain the same, but the interiors will be modernized for improved comfort and reliability.

• Customers with accessibility needs or require step free access will be able to book a free mobility taxi through our Contact Centre on 09 366 6400.
• We advise customers to book in advance of traveling to avoid long wait times.

Alternatively, customers may want to use Ranui Station as an alternative during this time.
