Feedback received
A summary of this feedback and answers to community questions and concerns:
- This proposal received positive responses from community members and stakeholders who supported improving road safety by increasing the visibility for vehicles entering and exiting Argus Place.
- Request to include additional broken yellow lines outside 78 and 80 Sunnybrae Road. Parked vehicles provide side friction which in turn slows down speeds along Sunnybrae Road, and thereby, improving safety. Further, there is a high demand for parking in this area. It is illegal for vehicles to be parked within one metre of a driveway and if this is the case, please call AT enforcement.
Next steps
We estimate that this work will be undertaken over the next 6 months, we will let you know if there are further changes or delays. Our contractors will send notices to affected residents prior to starting construction.
