We are proposing to install a section of broken yellow lines (no stopping at all times) in front of property number 105 along Medallion Drive.

Our investigations showed that vehicles parking along this section of road in Medallion Drive poses visibility issues for residents coming out of the driveway on Medallion Drive.

Feedback

The proposal received mixed feedback with some concerns raised by respondents. After reviewing this feedback and all other supporting evidence, the proposal will proceed without changes to the next stage of detailed planning.

Specific feedback

  • Request to have broken yellow lines implemented outside of 91 Medallion Drive would make it even safer for drivers/residents entering/existing the driveway. There are no visibility issues when cars are parked outside 91 Medallion Drive because it is looking downhill.

Next steps

We expect to introduce this work between July 2018 and June 2019, subject to further changes in design or funding issues. Contractors will issue 48-hour notices to all affected residents prior to construction work.
