The critical stage of the bridge build has now been completed with 27 super T beams placed on the three spans of the 80m bridge. 

These huge beams were installed using a 600-tonne crane – the largest mobile crane in the country. 

As the summer season approaches, the project will continue with the construction of the four-lane bridge and commence road pavement works, with completion prior to the opening of the Puhoi to Warkworth motorway.
