We're proposing changes in your area
We are proposing to install road markings to formalise existing bus stop 3280, outside 36 East Coast Road, in Milford. This will include new broken yellow lines leading up to the bus stop. This proposal involves the removal of 4 car parks at between 34 and 36 East Coast Road.

Why the changes are needed
The new road markings will make it clearer of where the existing bus stop is and installation of broken yellow lines leading up to the bus stop will allow buses to safely manoeuvre.
Proposal outcome
This project will proceed without changes to the next stage of detailed planning. A summary of the community feedback we received and answers to questions and concerns is below.
Feedback received
- Suggest extending the broken yellow lines up to the driveway of 2/38 East Coast Road, as parked cars in this area make it difficult to manoeuvre. Our surveys show that the extension of parking restrictions is not required at this location. This proposal aims to minimize the removal of on-street parking whilst ensuring there is sufficient space for turning vehicles to access East Coast Road.
Next steps
This work will happen by the end of 2018, but we will let you know if there are further changes or delays.
Our contractors will send notices to affected residents 48-hours prior to construction starting.
