From 18 May the 65 bus route will change through Pt Chevalier.

This is a permanent change.

• 5.50am-7am: Every second bus will travel to and from Coyle Park at the northern end of Pt Chevalier Road instead of Walker Park. They will serve all the bus stops on Pt Chevalier Road.
• 7am-9am: No change
• 9am-5pm: Buses from Selwyn Village will travel out to Pt Chevalier Road via Target St. They will use the bus stop on Target St near Katoa St (stop 1607). They won’t use the Target St stop on the park side (stop 8098) or the Walker Road bus stops (stop 8099).
• 5pm-7pm: No change
• 7pm-midnight: Every second bus will travel to and from Coyle Park instead of Walker Park. They will serve all the bus stops on Pt Chevalier Road.

This means from 18 May there will be three route variations through Pt Chevalier for bus route 65.

1. Selwyn Village. Applies 9am to 5pm only

The bus destination sign will say “Pt Chevalier Selwyn Village”

2. Target St (Walker Park). 

The bus destination sign will say “Pt Chevalier Walker Park”

3. Coyle Park (Pt Chevalier Beach). Applies before 7am and after 7pm.
