What this means for public transport

  • You are no longer required to wear a mask on board or while waiting at stations.
  • You are no longer required to scan the QR code on board.

We also continue to experience short-notice cancellations across our services due to staff shortages and COVID-19. See our Timetables and School bus timetables for ākonga (students) for updated travel information.

We recommend checking Journey Planner, AT Mobile app, Live Departures, or digital signs at stops and stations. For any additional changes in train timetables due to rail network closures, visit Planned Rail Closures.

As always, the safety of our staff and customers is our top priority. All public transport services are being cleaned regularly and thoroughly.

Detailed information about the government's next phase of the COVID-19 response is available at www.COVID19.govt.nz.

What this means for parking

  • All parking restrictions apply for both on and off-street parking. Please take note of bus lanes and special vehicle lanes and use them correctly.

The best place to find the latest New Zealand COVID-19 information is on the Ministry of Health’s website and the Government's main COVID-19 website.
