Child concession for passengers 5 to 15

Children 5 to 15 years old get 40% off when they tag on and off with their registered AT HOP card.

Secondary students 16 to 19 years old get 40% off adult fares when they tag on and off with their registered AT HOP card.

Full-time tertiary students can save 20% on buses, trains and some ferries with a tertiary concession on their AT HOP card.

Senior & SuperGold concession

Senior citizens can travel for free on Auckland trains and selected bus and ferry services. Applies after 9am on weekdays and all day on weekends and public holidays.

Total Mobility ID card or Blind Low Vision NZ ID card holders can get discounted fares and a free AT HOP card.
