Auckland Transport's Information Security Policy and Acceptable Use Policy scope:

  • All Auckland Transport information, whether created, modified, processed, received, or stored.
  • All ICT (Information & Communications Technology) and OT (Operational Technology) systems creating, storing, transmitting, or processing Auckland Transport’s information, whether owned by Auckland Transport or owned by a third party (such as a cloud-based system, or leased).
  • All users of Auckland Transport’s information and systems, whether they are employees, contractors, or other third parties.
  • All Auckland Transport locations, including employees and contractors working from home, or offsite.

Auckland Transport Information Security Policy

The purpose of this Information Security Policy is to set high-level expectations that formally establishes requirements to guide decisions and achieve rational outcomes. It defines the fundamental principles and responsibilities necessary for the secure operation of Auckland Transport’s technology systems, and information assets.

Auckland Transport Acceptable Use Policy

We all have a shared responsibility for security and to protect Auckland Transport’s assets. We must be aware that improper use can impact us, our colleagues, and Auckland Transport’s reputation. Inappropriate use exposes Auckland Transport to risks including virus attacks, compromise of network systems and services, and legal issues.
