As we are all aware, the circumstances around COVID-19 are changing by the hour. COVID-19 presents unprecedented challenges for our communities. Auckland Transport has taken a number of steps to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our people, contractors, and our customers and local communities.

To limit exposure to COVID-19 as much as possible, we have taken the precautionary step of stopping large gathering within our communities. We apologise for the short notice and any inconvenience this may cause – however we believe this is an important and necessary measure.

We continue to take advice from the Government and the Ministry of Health regarding COVID-19 safety precautions and will continue to review the situation on an ongoing basis.

For more information there is a COVID-19 section on our website, which we will continue to update with the latest information, and as always the Ministry of Health’s website.

If you have already registered for this event we will be in touch with you shortly.

Parents are still one of the biggest influencers in their children’s driving behaviour, so Auckland Transport encourages parents to have conversations with their teen on steps to gaining their full licence.

Delivered by Attitude from the Parenting Place, this presentation will cover:

  • why teenagers do risky things
  • the licencing process
  • the role of the parent
  • resources to help both teen drivers and parents.

This event is for parents/caregivers of teens aged 15 to 19 years but feel free to bring your teen(s) along with you.
