With train updates you can register to receive text or email messages if your train is disrupted, cancelled or delayed by more than 10 minutes.
Train updates - text and email messaging service
AT and Transdev have recently upgraded our train updates messaging service to a new system. You can now receive text and/or email updates. If you were using this service prior to our upgrade on 12 October 2016 you will need to re-register to continue to receive updates.
Messages are personalised to the specific information you want, so you'll hear only about train services relevant to you.
Simply register and then select the line(s) you travel on and the timeframe(s) during which you would like to receive information. Your service updates will be sent 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after the timeframe(s) you have selected.
Please note: Due to the high frequency of services on the Western, Southern and Eastern Lines, text messages for single train cancellations will not be sent during peak times, however text messages for major disruptions will be sent at all times.
Train updates are provided free of charge. You can change your preferences and unsubscribe at any time.

Please note that network-wide messages will be sent to all users to inform you of:
- Network wide issues
- Reminders regarding planned line closures
- Lift outages
- Special events
