Why the changes are needed
This proposal aims to provide cyclists with a safe alternative to cycling along Brigham Creek Road, allowing them to travel between Whenuapai and Hobsonville using a continuous facility.
These interim changes aim to better protect cyclists by allowing them to utilise the path until the surrounding rural roads are upgraded with suitable cycling and walking facilities.
Proposal outcome
The proposal received positive feedback and will proceed without changes to the next stage of detailed planning.
Next Steps
This work will happen by June 2019, but we will let you know if there are further changes or delays.
