Remuera, Greenlane, Ellerslie, Penrose, Te Papapa, and Onehunga stations will be closed between 16 January 2023 and 19 March 2023 for Stage 1 of the Rail Network Rebuild. Buses will replace trains at these stations.

Train network route & maps
Western Line
The Western Line operates between Swanson and the city centre (Britomart) via Henderson and New Lynn.

Southern, Eastern and Onehunga Line
The Southern Line operates between Pukekohe and the city centre (Britomart) via Manurewa and Newmarket.
Remuera, Greenlane, Ellerslie, and Penrose stations will be closed from 16 January 2023 to 19 March 2023 for Stage 1 of the Rail Network Rebuild.
If you're travelling from any station between Papakura and Ōtāhuhu, you'll be able to continue to Britomart using the Eastern line (via Panmure). If you're travelling from any station between Ōrākei and Ōtāhuhu, you'll be able to use both the Eastern and Southern lines.

The Eastern Line operates between Manukau and the city centre (Britomart) via Sylvia Park and Panmure.
From 16 January 2023 to 19 March 2023, during Stage 1 of the Rail Network Rebuild, Eastern line customers from Manukau will need to transfer at Ōtāhuhu to the Southern line in off-peak times (9:15am to 3pm and 8pm to 5:15am).

The Onehunga Line operates between Onehunga and Newmarket via Penrose and Ellerslie.
Remuera, Greenlane, Ellerslie, Penrose, Te Papapa, and Onehunga stations will be closed from 16 January 2023 to March 2023 for Stage 1 of the Rail Network Rebuild. Buses will replace trains at these stations during this time.
